I am so thankful for the fact that my parents have been able to come out to see us 3 times since we moved to CA. It's hard to live this far away from family, but God has blessed us in being able to spend more time together than any of us probably ever anticipated since we left MI. We were able to be with them in SC this past Nov., and we are all making plans to have a family reunion in MI this summer. I'm so glad that my girls know and love the only grandparents that they have. This morning was difficult for them when they woke up and knew that Grammy and Papa were gone. They had a sweet time of goodbyes last night though, and today we reminded ourselves to focus on what we did have and not dwell on what we don't. Here are some of the pics of them all enjoying time together during the last 11 days, starting with the most recent:
Enjoying refreshments during the intermission of the girls' play that they made up and put on for us
Emma and Papa before the play
Olivia and Papa before the play
Girls with Grammy for our girls' lunch at Mimi's
Enjoying a ride at Disneyland
Afternoon in the mountains where we saw snow and visited Lake Arrowhead
Grammy and Emma at a tea room in AZ
Olivia and Grammy at the tea room

We had sooooooooo much fun being there. The company, entertainment, site seeing in the mountains and to the ocean was spectacular.
We had so much fun and are now dealing with the lonliness and time change.
Love and miss you all!
